Lorquin's Atlas Moth (Attacus lorquini) caterpillar feeding on Ailanthus (Ailanthus altissima). This rainforest species is found in the northern part of the Phllipines archipelago. It feeds on many different species of rainforest plants. The resulting adult moth is one of the larger species in the world. This larva is in the 4th instar.
