A large massive flo-s\-er with high pointed centre with nicely reflexing petals of great substance, the long buds in first developing are a light lemon-yellow, while the flowers in their half-expanded form reveal a heart of golden apricot; it has a delicious rose-apple scent. Among light-colored varieties this is of outstanding merit. $ per 100. Gaiety (E. G. Hill Co., 1926). Buds long and pointed, developing to a large shapely semi-double, cupped flower composed of ruffled petals, which as they un- fold show various shades of orange, Indian red, yellow, and pink or fawn. The plant is of strong, vigorous branching habit, with good healthy foliage and very free flowering. $ per 100. Gladys Benskin (Alex. Dickson, 1929). Large long pointed buds and high centred full flowers well built, with heavy, broad, slightly serrated petals. Color very distinct, the reverse of the petals salmon cerise over golden yellow, with deep yellow veining, in- side bright rose cerise shaded orange, with deeper orange shaded base and very rich fruity fragrance.
