A large massive flo-s\-er with high pointed centre with nicely reflexing petals of great substance, the long buds in first developing are a light lemon-yellow, while the flowers in their half-expanded form reveal a heart of golden apricot; it has a delicious rose-apple scent. Among light-colored varieties this is of outstanding merit. $ per 100. Gaiety (E. G. Hill Co., 1926). Buds long and pointed, developing to a large shapely semi-double, cupped flower composed of ruffled petals, which as they un- fold show various shades of orange, Indian red, yellow, and pink or fawn. Large long pointed buds and high centred full flowers well built, with heavy, broad, slightly serrated petals.
