This breed is most common in Eppynt Llanafan Abergwesyn and Llanwrtyd Wells. it is named for its distinctly patterned black and white face which is free from wool. Domestic sheep, Ovis aries, are quadrupedal ruminant mammals, typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even toed ungulates.
