'Queen Charlotte, Königin Charlotte' Japanese anemone, Höstanemon (Anemone hupehensis)


'Königin Charlotte' is a pretty perennial with divided leaves and large, pink, semi-double flowers in summer. Will grow in any garden soil. It dislikes winter wet, and being moved around. Will spread rapidly once established. A species of flowering plant in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, is native to Asia. The specific epithet hupehensis, which means "from Hupeh (Hupei, Hubei) province, China", refers to a region where the species is known to occur.
