Red Tarn and Helvellyn

Helvellyn reflected in Red Tarn. Red Tarn lies below the eastern face of Helvellyn and is a popular stopping point for walkers ascending the fell from Glenridding or Paterdale on the shores of Ullswater. On the south (left) the tarn is flanked by Striding Edge and on the north by Swirral Edge.
