The Walker Brothers, l-r John (Joe), Gary and Scott. Founded in 1964, The Walker Brothers were a successful pop group who were not actually brothers, but chose the name as a show business touch. They were highly successful in the UK. They quickly gathered a recording contract with Philips, their first single, "Pretty Girls Everywhere", and joined the UK Top Twenty in June 1965. Later on that same year their recording of "Make It Easy On Yourself" made the No. 1 spot. It also reached No 16 in the charts. They also made "My Ship Is Coming In" (no. 3 in uk charts), Followed by "The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore" which made it to the top of the Hit Parade once more. They continued to have chart successes but their number wasn't to be. The group split up after a tour of Japan in 1968. They came together again in 1976 and had another UK top ten hit with "No Regrets".
