In the event of a pension having been paid after death ofpensioner, it was due to failure to report the death promptlyto the Auditor of Public Accounts. In such cases the pensionwarrant was recalled and paid back into the State Treasury. When the following statement shows that the pensionerreceived two years pension within the fiscal year, endingSeptember 30, 1921, it is due to failure of pensioner to filecertificates required by law in time for payment within thenext preceding fiscal year, which certificate was filed andpaid within the fiscal year ending September 30, 1921. Odd amounts indicate that the pensioner has been reratedand such amount paid in addition to his former pension. All
