She was first seen by him on June 1st, 1920,at the AVest London Hospital, when she presented numerous recentcircular and oval scars scattered about the back, limbs, face andscalp. There were very few lesions on the fiont of the trunk. Herthroat, palate and tongue were ver}- ulcerated. There was post-sternomastoid and inguinal adenitis. There was a small ulceratedlesion on the inner surface of the left labium minus. She alsoexhibited the characteristic lesions of scabies. This had disappearedunder
