This method of construction gives a con-stant^d uniform lubrication of the rollers, theoil being retained indefinitely. No Pitting of Rollers Pitting of rollers is prevented by the good con-tact obtained by having the center stud restfirmly on the stationary base. Heavy Tension Springs are used in the US-13 Base. A heavily ribbedadjusting arm and slide operated by a singleadjusting screw gives a range in pressure offrom 20 to 45 pounds at the wire.
