A Caucasian gold-inlaid miquelet-lock pistol,2nd half of the 19th century. Round smooth-bore barrel in 15 mm calibre,chiselled ornamental designs and rubbed gold inlays over the breech. Gold-inlaid miquelet-lock with floral decorations and manufacturer's inscription underneath the hammer spring. The walnut stock with finely engraved silver nielloed furniture covered with shagreen leather. The pommel with a solid ball made of walrus ivory. Beautiful condition.
