Roman arch from Corbridge (Corstopitum) re-used between C7th nave & W porch (now tower) of St Andrew's church founded by St Wilfrid. In the C11th a belfry tower was added above the entrance porch which is now used as a baptistery. The main body of the church is C13th, entrance to the nave is via a S porch.
