THE IIINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL CONTACTORIN SERVICE SIGNAL, LIGHT, RELAYS AND BELL MOUNTED ON POLEAT CROSSING ON THE lines of the Twin City Rapid TransitCompany, Minneapolis, Minn., several pieces ofequipment have been developed recently by theoverhead department. These include such apparatus asdouble-track crossing signals, special pull-off goose-neckand strain insulators, electrically-lighted switch lamps,etc. The maintenance of signals on this property istaken care of by the same crew which looks after all ofthe overhead maintenance, including telephone description of the equipment with which this main-tenance work is accomplished appeared in an article inthe July 19, 1919,issue of the ELECTRIC Railway Jour-nal, page 121.
