SEA (Aug. 9, 2018) - A super rapid blooming offboard counter-measure system fires during a live-fire exercise aboard the Arleigh Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) in the Mediterranean Sea, Aug. 9, 2018. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests Europe and Africa.
