She was treated for leucorrhoea,and a discrepancy between her statement about the continuance of thedischarge and the doctors own observation that the cervix got wellunder appropriate treatment, led to the discovery of a second and nar-rower vagina leading to another cervix. By means of two sounds thedoctor convinced himself that the septum in the vagina was complete,and that it extended somewhat into the cervix, while there was no trace ARREST OF DEVELOPMENT. 251.
