David Cameron cuts short his family holiday to return to Downing Street to chair meetings with the British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and senior law enforcement and intelligence figures. The meeting comes after the brutal execution of American journalist James Foley, who had been held hostage by Jihadist militants of the Islamic State . It seems that his killer was a British citizen.
