This little red train takes you on one of the 10 greatest train journeys in world. It runs from Tirana in Italy to St Moritz and onto Lake Lugano. It passes glaciers and mountains, ski slopes and Swiss cottages. This journey's images were taken at the height of summer when the milky glacier lakes were full. These mountains mark the border between Italy and Switzerland. The Alps have permanent glaciers and are wonderful for walking in the summer and skiing in the winter
