Information panel about the Berlin artist, Kathe Kolliwitz, who worked from a house at 56 A Kollwitzstrasse (Prenzlauer Berg) for 52 years. The panel reads: 'On the 14 June 1891 Kathe Schmidt married Karl Kollwitz. The young couple moved into a rented flat in a house at Weisenburger Strasse 25 - today Kollwitzstrasse 56A - at the former Worther Platz - today Kolliwtzplatz -, where Karl Kollwitz also opened his medical practice'. The Kathe Kollwitz Museum, at Fasanstrasse 24 (Charlottenburg), opened in 1986.
