At the various wliolesale markets last week seasonalilo cut stock was plentiful in all grades, hut there was no glut in any one variety. The demand for choice stock has been (^xci'llent all the week and the leading florists carry a great deal more stock since trade has l)ec()me steady. According to the daily ])ress, society events will include many wed- dings, balls and social functions during the remainder of the nionlh and es])c- cially Thanksgiving week. The stock coming to this market daily includes quantities of fancy cut mums in all tlie leading varieties. Among those in great demand are Bonnaffon, both white and yellow. White and Golden Chadwicks are great sellers, as is also Chieftain. A great assortment of fine jiompons is disjjosed of each day. Roses are in great abundance, but suf- fer somewhat in demand, as chrysanthe- mums have the call at present and only prime stock in Premier, Kussell, Coluin- l)ia and Milady are sold readily. Ameri- can Beauties were scarce in this market last week. Tlie market liad a gooil supply of White Killarnev, which sold well. ?
