A trawler traversing the Caledonian Canal to Inverness

A trawler traversing the Caledonian Canal to Inverness. This canal links east and west coasts of Scotland through the Great Glen, with Inverness at the eastern end. The canal is large enough for ocean going vessels to use, and results in the odd sight of seagoing boats in the middle of the countryside. These images taken just west of Fort Augustus
