Berries large, conical, with short neck, of a glossy bright crimson color, and good quality. Medium to late. PARKER EARLE. \/ MICHAEL'S EARLY. This was the best early berry with us the past season, and we believe it is destined to take the place of the Hoffman in the South. The plant is a vigorous grower, fairly productive, of good size, and matures its crop early when berries are high. We shall plant largely of this variety. It is one of the best to fertilize with, as it blooms through a long season, and is full of pollen. MICHAEL'S EARLY. ALABAMA. This is not quite so early as Michael's, but berries are large, deep scarlet, and very solid. Fairly productive. Surely worthy a trial. i STEVENS. Very early, and we see it is spoken well of in some sections. It did not behave well with us, as both plant and fruit seemed to blight before ripe. WARFIELD, No. 2. (P) Its color and carrying qualities are hard to beat, and if planted on good soil, and not allowed to grow too thick, will give good satis- faction as a medium late berry.
