St Lazarus Church from the Muromsky Monastery and the Kizhi Pogost on Onega Lake in Karelia, Russia
St Lazarus Church is the oldest wooden church in Russia. It was moved to Kizhi Island from the Muromsky monastery in Pudozh region of Karelia. Famous 22-domed Transfiguration Church from 1714, nine-domed Intercession Church from 1764 and the bell tower from 1874 of the Kizhi Pogost are shown in the photo. Kizhi Pogost has been inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List
