Disused Railway Line UK


The old level crossing gates at Bramley and Wonersh Station Surrey UK. The line which used to run from Guildford via Cranleigh Rudgewick Christ Hospital and then onto Shoreham was closed during the Beeching cuts in the 1960s. The route is now known as the Downs Link which joins the North and South Downs across the Sussex weald from St Marthas Hill Surrey in the north to Shoreham The railway is now it is used for recreational purposes as a path bridleway cycle way footpath
