Mounted on exterior of south wall, at east end of chancel. Memorial plaque to Rev William Deere and his niece Anne. ‘Under the Communion Table Lieth the body of the Rev. Mr William Deere Vicar of Penlline, and Rector of this Parish, who departed this life, the 12th day of december 1746 Aged 65 years. As Also Anne the Wife of Evan Treharne (Daughter of Edward Deere of Hillton, and niece of the above Rev Mr William Deere) who departed this life the 11th Day of August 1765 aged 56.
