Juvenile, or sub adult sea cucumber, Pearsonothuria graeffei, previously known as Bohadschia graeffei.

A juvenile, or sub adult sea cucumber, Bohadschia graeffei, Uepi, Solomon Islands, Solomon Sea, Pacific Ocean. This species radically changes its appearance in the transition from juvenile to adult. The juveniles mimic several nudibranchs of the Phyllidiidae. Once the cucumber exceeds the maximum size of the nudibranch, it begins to alter its appearance to the adult form as the mimicry is no longer effective.
