Demolition of the Futurist Cinema, a Georgian styled building in Lime Street, a campaign to save the facade of the Georgian styled picture house, The Futurist, in Lime Street, Liverpool, the building has been demolished as part of the renovation of Lime Street which has been allowed to decay over the years. The section on the East side of Lime Street from Lime Street Station to Ranelagh Place is being demolished to make way for a new development. The public houses (pubs) ar each end are the only buildings that will remain - The Vines (Big House) and The Crown Hotel adjacent to Lime Street Station.
