GREECE: VICTIMS OF THE GERMAN OCCUPATION - In Greece, the people who have suffered most from German and Bulgar barbarities are the smanll communities in the mountain districts. Most of the villages have been partly, if not wholly destroyed by fire during the enemy's campaign of hate. Possessing little clothing with which to keep out the cold, a large majority of these mountain folk sleep in th eopen. Food, which is also scarce, consists of little else but potatoes. Thesepictures were taken in the mountains near the German-Bulgar border
