Oscar Sladek, Holocaust survivor, shares his story with Airmen during the Days of Remembrance event at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, Aug. 9, 2018. As a young boy, Sladek spent several years evading capture by Nazis, hiding out with friends and in the mountains with his family. His story served as a reminder of the persecution and difficulties people faced during the Holocast.
