Helicobacter heilmannii is a pathogenic bacteria that may be involved in the development of stomach ulcers. This is a transmission electron microscopy. At high magnification (x130,000) the insertion of the bacterial flagella (filaments enabling bacterial motility) can be seen in the bacterial wall.
