MV Kohu Ra Tuarua is a New Zealand ferry, that connects Rawene and Kohukohu across the Hokianga Harbour, North Island. The vessel can carry up to 21 cars, crossing approximately hourly. The trip takes 15 minutes each way. MV Kohu Ra Tuarua was built in 1998 by Ship Constructors Ltd, Whangarei, New Zealand, specifically designed for this journey. It is owned by the "Far North District Council" and is operated by Transfield Services.
