Sailors with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a medical assessment on simulated casualties during a Forward Humanitarian Assistance exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, April 14, 2021. The Sailors drove to a simulated disaster area, where they assessed the medical needs and delivered food and water to the local populace. The training was conducted to refine 11th MEU procedures for humanitarian assistance while deployed.
