An Ottoman gold-inlaid Miquelet rifle, 1st half of 19th century Octagonal Damascus barrel with rifled bore and slightly swamped muzzle in calibre mm, chiselled and profusely adorned with gold damascening at the breech and at the muzzle. Aperture sight and tang decorated en suite. Miquelet lock also with gold inlays, lock mechanism slightly fatigued. Dark full stock with brass pin, nickel silver and partially green dyed bone inlays.
