HAU1 Hebbel-Theater in Kreuzberg-Berlin. Early 20th century Art Nouveau style theatre by architect Oskar Kaufmann. Exterior, façade & entrance. The Hebbel-Theatre is the only theatre in Berlin that survived the second world war without major damage. The Hebbel am Ufer ( HAU) theatre group was formed in 2003 by merging three Kreuzberg Theatres, The Hebbel theatre, Theater am Halleschen Ufer and the Theater am Ufer.
