The Armories at Peterboro, furnish anideal building for the holding of alarge convention. The situation, front-ing a very handsome public square, issplendid, especially as the fine Colle-giate Institute is adjoining, and thenew Public Library is across thesquare. The large hall in the armories, 176feet by 80 feet, has been fitted up for theexhibition booths, each of which willhave a frontage of 12 feet, and a depthof 10 feet. Over sixty exhibitors havebeen accommodated with booths and theresult will be the greatest exhibition ofhardware ever brought together in thiscountry. A uniform scheme was adopted by theExecutive Committee for the entire Ex-hibition Hall. The booths are uniform-. Thebooths are left open in front, and theside walls will be 36 inches, from thefloor to the railing. The Exhibition Hall will be open everymorning from 9 to 12 oclock, but willbe closed during the sessions in theafternoon. The convention meetingsclose at , and the Exhibition Hallwill then be open until , ex-cept on Tuesday, when it will be closedall the afternoon. This is on account ofthe convention, at this time, being opento travelers, manufacturers and others,who are invited to assist in makingTravelers Hour a success, by takingpart in the discussion on Methods ofSalesmanship.
