A few years later he organized another grocery com-pany under the name of the Jennings-Christopher Grocery Com-pany of Centerville, Iowa, also becoming President of this com-pany. He became associated with Mr. McCoy in the Report SectionMarch 1, 1918, and continued in the work of examining reportstill the jobbers reports were discontinued in July of the sameyear. He then entered the Field Supervision work, and renderedvaluable service in that connection. He is a member of the Riverside Country Club and the ElksClub, both of Trenton, Missouri. He resides at 1620 Lin woodBoulevard, Kansas City, 173 OMAR H. CHEER Omar H. Cheer was born at Williamstown, Massachusetts, in1872. He became connected with .Siegel, Cooper & Company ofNew York City, as grocery salesman, in 1899. He later becamemanager of the grocery department of the 14th Street Store ofNew York City, and in 1913, became Treasurer and Manager ofMcCann & Company, Inc., Pittsburgh Pa., one of the largest andbest equipped retail food markets in the country. He became associated with the Retail Section of the Distribu-tion Division in July, 1918, and took part in the work of establish-ing permissible retailers profits in butter, eggs, cheese and oleo-margarine, remaining with the Food Administration till afterthe signing of the Armistice.
