The bell alarm is cut 490-watt, series arc lamps. Each lamp is supported on acast-iron pole of neat design. This lighting system is fed fromthe constant-current transformers already mentioned. The motor-generator room of the substation is lighted by21 clusters of tungsten 40-watt lamps.
