McLaren traction engine pulling a living wagon at the Great Dorset Steam Fair, 2010.

Dalgety of Lockerley, Hants, not road registered until the 1920’s. The engine worked in it's own shed with a chimney in the roof and a hole in the wall that the belt passed through to drive a sawbench. Other farm work was carried out but the engine was always returned to the shed after duties. The engine was always maintained by the steam engine builders Tasker’s of Andover. The driver had always taken pride in this engine, (gleaming when John Crawley became the second owner in 1963). The present owner is believed to be J. Mayes.
