Recklinghausen, Castrop-Rauxel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - Construction project EMSCHERLAND, a 37 hectare water and nature experience park at the water junction of the Rhine-Herne Canal and the renaturalized Emscher River on the city border of Recklinghausen with Castrop-Rauxel. The ecological focal point at the confluence of Suderwicher Bach and Emscher will also be a future garden of the International Garden Exhibition 2027.
