Yaozhou celadon five-lobed bowl, Five Dynasties, Shaanxi province, China, 10th century. Bowl of petal shape with high straight sides and a curved rim. The sea green glaze pools in the lobe divisions and turns to a reddish colour where it is thin along the rim and foot.
