Liverpool, UK. 03rd Aug, 2014. Around 200 people have attended a middle east peace vigil that was held in Liverpool on Sunday, August, 3, 2014. The vigil which was organised and publicised by the Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson. The vigil was addressed by faith and community leaders. The Mayor said "I am saddened and sickened by the events in Gaza and Israel. We have witnessed a human tragedy of innocent children being kills and maimed".
