White lilac has come; so have pink lilies. The supply of carnations is smaller. Their quality improves. Hoses are selling fairly in face of the competition. The novelties lead. The supply of valley is a little smaller as the old crop disappears. Easter lilies are good and hard to sell. Orchid peas have arrived in sufficient numbers to mention. They are oflEered in pink, white and lavender. Current Events. Everybody who went to Cleveland speaks highly of the great flower show that is just over. Robert A. Craig says that it was a wonderful show in every respect. Fine exhibits, a splendid at- tendance—both due to the untiring energy of the show committee, which left nothing undone that could aid in success. Elmer W. Gaehring admired the way the ^how was advertised and arranged, and especially the loyalty of the retailers. All who exhibited kept their exhibits in perfect condition throughout the show. Joseph G.
