Kingsday, the King's birthday celebrations in Amsterdam. On Koningsdag, Kingsday, King's Day, (formerly Koninginnedag, Queensday) the King's birthday most dress up in orange in Amsterdam. The Canal Parade through the canals especially in the Prinsengracht is big fun and draws hundreds of boats and tens of thousands of visitors.
