Prehistoric human skull (Omo 1). Reconstruction of the modern human (Homo sapiens) skull discovered in 1967 by a team led by Richard Leakey. It was found in Kibish, Ethiopia, near Shiangoro village, east of the River Omo. It dates from around 130,000 years ago.
