Observed by family and friends, Dave Ribbe, Unmanned Aircraft Systems maintainer, and Quique Somenzini, UAS pilot, conduct a preflight check of the F-16QQ PNP model jet during the Arctic Thunder Open House Special Needs and Department of Defense Family Day at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, June 29, 2018. During the biennial open house, JBER opens its gates to the public and hosts multiple performers including the Air Force Thunderbirds, JBER Joint Forces Demonstration and the Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team.
