James Cadaoas, a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) specialist and native of Carson, California, assigned to the 307th Chemical Company, 453rd Chemical Battalion, 209th Regional Support Group, 76th Operational Response Command checks the cycling of a M2 .50 caliber machine-gun during a blank firing lane at Fort Riley, Kansas, April 4 as part of Operation Gauntlet. More than 450 Army Reserve Soldiers from around the country are participating in the three-week gunnery exercise to hone crucial gunnery skills and increase battlefield lethality.
