Tuttle purchased the[ilace of them and sold it to lulward Burnap, he selling it back againto Mr. iuttle, who then sold to Warren C. Tuttle. He sold it to thepresent owner, Oscar J. Esterbrook. James Wait came from ANeston, Vl., in 1835, and settled onthe present Wait farm. He cleared a small piece of land and soonIkuI a comfortable house built on it. In the fall of 1835 he returnedto Weston, but came back again the year, when he cleared hisland and erected a saw mill, giving energy and thrift to the wholeschool district. School was kept in his
