A constant stream of politicians arrived at Downing Street in London to hear about their futures in or out of the cabinet. Education Secretary Michael Gove was replaced by Nicky Morgan and former Environmental Secretary Owen Paterson was replaced by newcomer Liz Truss. Former Defence Sectretary Phillip Hammond takes over Foreign Affairs from William Hague who is taking a back seat to concentrate on helping the conservatives to campaign for the forthcoming elections.
