Army Soldiers from the 3rd Cavalry Regiment (3CR) emplace an M777A2 howitzer before executing a gun raid mission with Iraqi Security Forces in Iraq, Dec. 19, 2018. The gun raid was conducted in coordination with Iraqi Security Forces to destroy ISIS tunnels and caves in the Makhmour Mountains. The 3CR is deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, working by, with and through the Iraqi Security Forces to defeat ISIS.
