RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL: BRAVE slackliners have been pictured walking the ropes above Rio de Janeiro, with the half a mile drop showing the city in all its glory ahead of the Olympics next month. The stunning shots show the daredevils tread across an eighty-two-foot-long high line on Pedra da Gávea mountain with an amazing sunrise illuminating the city landscape behind. The images were captured by Brazilian photographer Rafael Moura (30) and show what a treat the fans and athletes are in for when they travel to the Olympics in August. The lead up to Rio 2016 has been riddled with problems as fears persist over the Zika virus while ten people were recently arrested on suspicion of planning terrorist attacks during the Olympics. The debate surrounding whether or not to ban all Russian athletes after the state doping scandal has also left a spur taste in the mouth. Despite this, Rafael felt the city was ready to welcome the world with open arms.
