Ogimachi village in the area know as Shirakawa-go is known as a Unesco World Heritage Site

The small village of Ogimachi, with its traditional thatched roof houses, stands in the middle of a valley. During Autumn, the woods in the surrounding mountains turn to several shades of green, organge and red.
