Royal Netherlands Military Flying School in Jackson, Mississippi. Pilots of the ML-KNIL, commanded by Major General van Oyen, who escaped from the Dutch East Indies, are trained in Fort Jackson, Mississippi. Lieutenant pilot den Ouden was recently decorated by Queen Wilhelmina for his bombing operations in the Strait of Makassar and elsewhere.
